Obituary for KEELER

Herbert "Lee" Keeler, a resident of Albuquerque since 1946, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2006. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Frances Annicelli Keeler; his brother, Howard Keeler of Wappinger Falls, NY; his sister-in-law, Alma Keeler of Pompano Beach, FL; sister-in-law, Carmoline Grady and husband, Bing of Albuquerque; and many nieces and nephews. Lee was a veteran of WWII, stationed at Kirtland Air Force Base when he met Frances. He worked as a Service Supervisor at Southern Union Gas Company, (now PNM) for 25 years before his retirement in 1983. In retirement, he enjoyed traveling with his "Fran" and his golf games with his buddies. He was a member of the Elks Club and the Albuquerque Petroleum Club. Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 6, 2006, 10:30 a.m., at Our Lady of Annunciation Catholic Church, 2621 Vermont NE, Father Bennett J. Voorhies, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. A reception will follow the interment on Saturday, May 6, 2006 at the Albuquerque Petroleum Club.
