Walter Joseph Delwiche, Jr., 54, of Farmington, NM, born in Albuquerque February 12, 1952, went to be with his fathers in Heaven on April 26, 2006. Walter was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Farmington and an active member of the Men's Cursillo of the Diocese of Gallup, an activity he held close to his heart. He had many brothers and sisters in Christ. Walter was preceded in death by his father, Walter Joseph Delwiche, Sr. He is survived by his son, Walter "Wally" Joseph Delwiche III; mother, Evangeline; brother, Frank Delwiche; seven sisters, Anna Gutierrez, Shirley Gallegos (Gene), Lois Hudgins (Roland), Dorothy Larranaga (Jerry), Carolyn Gutierrez (Benny), Elinor Delwiche, Laura Delwiche (Peter); many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; special friends and buddies. Rosary will be said at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos Road NW. Private interment of ashes will take place at a later date.
