Marie Rose Scaltrito, age 85, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2006. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and was a longtime resident of Rio Rancho. Preceded in death by her husband, Dan Scaltrito, she is survived by her children, Frank, Peter and wife, Dee, Marietta and husband, Keith; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Rio Rancho, with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 3, 2006. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2006, with burial following at Vista Verde Memorial Park.
