Burl G. Duncan passed away on April 22, 2006 in Albuquerque. Burl was born on May 2, 1922 in Blue Diamond, KY. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward; mother, Mattie; and sister, Mildred Duncan. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Esther Duncan; two daughters, Cheryl McAliney of Lake St. Louis, MO; Pamela Zayas, husband, Freddie, of Alexandria, VA; two step-children, Yvonne Newell, husband, John of Parker, CO; and Michael Baca, wife, Virginia, of Pasadena, CA; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He honorably served his country in World War II with the United States Army. He retired from Sandia National Laboratories with 35 years of service. A private Memorial Service was held on April 29, 2006 with interment in Santa Fe National Cemetery. Many thanks to Marler Manor for their wonderful and loving care.
