Donis E. Kaehr, 87, a resident of Albuquerque for the past 49 years and a former resident of Pawhuska, OK, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 22, 2006. She was born December 17, 1918 in Barnsdall, OK to Don and Mabel Ashby. Donis was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Don Jr., Jack, and Jim; and her husband, Ray Kaehr. She is survived by her daughters, Dona Clapp and husband, Carl, of Barnsdall, OK, Delores Albert and husband, Paul, and Debra Young and husband, Bob, all of Albuquerque; grandsons, Michael Doran of Independence, KS, Sean Doran of Irving, TX, and Matthew Young of Albuquerque. Donis was a member of Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile Temple 74 and enjoyed sewing, cooking, reading, and was an avid bridge player. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all. Services will take place Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Friends may visit one hour prior to services. Graveside Services will be held at Ethel Reese Cemetery, Barnsdall, OK on Saturday, April 29, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made in Donis's name to your favorite charity.
