Obituary for CRISWELL

Josephine Criswell, known to her friends as Jo, died Friday, April 21, 2006 at her home in Albuquerque. She was born in Dalhart, Texas July 15, 1915 and was raised in Camden, Arkansas by her grandparents. She attended Texas Christian University and moved to Albuquerque in 1948 after she married William M. Criswell. She loved her family, friends and all animals and was a member of the Church Universal and Triumphant. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years in 1997. She is survived by her son Bill Criswell, his wife Sheron; her son John Criswell, his wife Gayle; grandson Micah Criswell; and friends Lita, Sara, Dottie and others who shared her joy in her last years. A memorial service is planned for 11 a.m., Saturday April 29, 2006 at French's Mortuary on Lomas Blvd. NE.
