Gene Summers, age 47 passed away in Albuquerque. Gene graduated from El Dorado High school in 1976 and honorably served in the US Air Force. He was a devoted Son, Father, and Brother. All who knew Gene loved him. He is survived by his daughters, Sherisse and Jasmine; son, Gene Jr.; Stepchildren, Brandon, Kristen, and Jessika Bell; brother, Richard and wife, Michelle; sister, Jacqueline Love; Aunts, Deborah Verter, Katherine Crockett; Uncle, Cornelius Foster; Grandmother, Helen Greer; many cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends. We will all miss his inspiring wisdom and the sanctity of his strong supporting arms. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at 11:30 a.m. at the Chapel of Sunrise, with committal services to follow at 3:00 at Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe.
