Patrick Gene Romero, 37, a resident of Albuquerque passed away in Arizona on Friday, April 7, 2006 as a result of a car accident. Patrick is the beloved son, to Fred and Roseann Ortiz. He is also survived by his loving sisters, Danika Tanner and husband, Austin, Trisha Ortiz and boyfriend, Daniel Nogales; one niece, Kendall Renee Tanner; his grandmothers, Marian Romero and Pauline Ortiz; uncles, Reverend Juan Mendez and George Gonzales and many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Patrick was preceded in death by his grandfathers Fred Romero and Eloy Ortiz. Patrick was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be Monday, April 17, 2006 at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Alameda from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m. at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church with visitation after 8:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. by Father Juan. Honorary pallbearers will be Trini Avila, Morry Roybal, Steven Cordova, Lanny Leyba, Joe Menicucci, Andrew Trujillo, Greg Webb and Fred Wolfal.
