Paul T. Mathews, 90, a resident of Albuquerque for 47 years, died Wednesday, April 12, 2006. He is survived by his sons, Richard Mathews and wife, Patricia, of Durham, NC, Gregory Mathews and wife, Sue, of Milwaukee, WI and Timothy Mathews and wife, Judy of Edgewood, NM; seven grandchildren, Anita, Christopher, and Katie Mathews, Jason Mathews, Lisa Casanova, Amber and Osha Posich; great grandchildren, Sean Mathews, Chelsea Cananova, and Janette and Brianna Lacefield; sister, Kitty Person, IL; and many other relatives and friends. Paul was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 65 years, Jane E. Mathews on Thursday, February 2, 2006. He was born on September 14, 1915 in Hidalgo, Illinois to Samuel Brown and Ada Emma Turner Mathews. Paul worked as a draftsman at Sandia National Labs until his retirement in December 1974. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Services will be held at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE Monday, April 17, 2006, 11:00 am. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
