Richard J. "Pinkey" Baca, 60, a resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday April 13, 2006. He is survived by his parents, Joe and Mary Baca of Albuquerque; three children; brothers, Art Baca, Larry Baca, Raymond Baca, and Henry Baca; sister, Barbara Jean Baca; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Richard was born in Clovis, NM on January 22, 1946 and attended Clovis High School. He was a truck driver for Consolidated Freight until his health forced him to retire in 1993. Richard loved carpentry, making many nice items for his family from various kinds of wood. He was a beloved son, father, brother and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd., Tuesday, April 18, 2006 from 4:00 p.m. until Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at the Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11401 Indian School Rd. NE, Wednesday, April 19, 2006, 9:00 am. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd., NE. French Mortuary 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE 275-3500
