Obituary for RUSHING

Raymond Louis Rushing Sr., 70, a resident of Albuquerque since 1976, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2006 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by wife of 43 years, Lou Rushing of the family home; daughters, Belinda Gutierrez of Albuquerque and Pam Berg and husband, Jeff of Rockford, Il; son, Raymond L. Rushing Jr. and wife, Kristie of New York; grandchildren, Martin Gutierrez, Ashley Berg, Kevin Gutierrez, Rachel Berg and Isabell Rushing; brothers, W.J.S. Rushing Jr. and wife, Sarah and Michael Rushing and wife, Linda; sister, Maryann Isbell; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many special friends. Raymond, Master Chief Petty Officer, served in the United States Navy where he retired after serving for 35 years. He served in the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War, where he was awarded several Gold, Silver, and Bronze stars and many other service decorations. Graveside Service will be held Thursday, April 13, 2006, 2:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery with full military honors.
