Annie N. Garcia went home to the Lord on March 31, 2006. She lived a full and beautiful life, and she enjoyed many blessings and strengths. She will be missed. Annie was born in 1917 in Old Town Albuquerque to Remigio and Beatriz Nuanes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Toby, and her caring sons, Julian and Harry. Annie is survived by her daughter-in-law, Sheilah, and grandchildren, Toby and his wife, Ellie, Garrett and his wife, Alison, Edward, Carlos and Pilar; her great-grandchildren, Grayson, Lily, and Isabela, and Julian and Garrett; brother, Joe Nuanes and his wife, Margie, sister-in-law, Emily Nuanes; and a number of beloved nieces and nephews. Rosary will be recited at French Mortuary, 1111 University NE at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday April 11, 2006. Mass will be celebrated at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday April 12, 2006.
