Obituary for KOETTER

Vincent B. Koetter, 86, an Albuquerque resident since 1953, died Monday, April 3, 2006. Mr. Koetter is survived by his wife of 64 years, Michele Koetter; son, Vincent Koetter and wife, Beatrice, all of Albuquerque; daughter, Michele R. Teleposky of Litchfield, CT; grandchildren, Sean Dawson, Neil Dawson, and Amy Barnes, all of Connecticut and Joseph B. Koetter of Albuquerque; great-grandchildren, Connor and Tyler Dawson, Julia Bond, all of Connecticut; brothers, Irven Koetter of Oklahoma and Amil Koetter of Albuquerque; sisters, Irene Rund of Oklahoma and Norma Sarver of Texas. He is also survived by Maria Duffy who the family thought of as a daughter. Mr. Koetter was a very active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Byzantine Catholic Church. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII and was retired from the U.S. Department of Energy after 30 years service. Rosary and Panachida will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 6, 2006 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Byzantine Catholic Church, 1837 Alvarado Dr. NE. Visitation will be held at the church from 3:30 p.m. until the Rosary. The Funeral and Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Friday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Byzantine Catholic Church, 1837 Alvarado Dr. NE, with Father Chris Zugger, officiating.
