Juanita Swofford, 87, a resident of Santa Fe, died Saturday, April 1, 2006. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, James Arnel Swofford. She is survived by her sister, Bessie Hise; children, Wilma Deering of Santa Fe, Donna Jernigan of Meridian, ID, James A. Swofford Jr. of Santa Fe, Constance (Connie) Senior of Las Vegas, NM, John W. Swofford of Santa Fe, E. Dean Swofford of Albuquerque, T. Lavella Rich of Albuquerque; 20 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Juanita is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. A Viewing will be held at 9:00 a.m., and Services at 10:00 a.m., on April 5, 2006, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Sage Ward. 8130 Sage Rd. SW 87121.
