Ellen M. Colson, a resident of Belen, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2006 in Carlsbad, NM. Ellen is survived by daughter, Shirley and husband, Allan Miller of Carlsbad; son, Ronald A. Colson and wife, Norma Jean of Belen; grandson, Sgt. 1st class Jeffrey Ray and wife, Jennifer of South Carolina; and granddaughter, Jodi and husband, Kevin Coleman of Texas; great-grandchildren, Nade, Kincade, Cameron, Devin, and Brianna; and several nieces and nephews. A visitation for Ellen will be held Tuesday, April 4, 2006 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Strong-Thorne Mortuary. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at Strong-Thorne Mortuary with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
