Ellen L. Ballweg passed away Saturday, March 25, 2006 at The Montebello. She is survived by her children, Allen J. Ballweg of Albuquerque, NM; Ann L. Anderson and husband, Kristian W. of Granite Bay, CA; two grandchildren, Erik L. Anderson and Kyle B. Anderson, both of Granite Bay, CA. Mrs. Ballweg was preceded in death by her husband, Col. Lawrence H. Ballweg, (Ret. USAF) and a son, Leo H. Ballweg. Mrs. Ballweg is a graduate of Simmons College in Boston, MA with a degree in Library Science. Ellen was a volunteer for the Red Cross at the Kirtland Air Force Base Hospital and a Reader for the New Mexico Clipper Bureau. She was also a member of Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday, March 31, 2006 at 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church, 2621 Vermont St. NE. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
