Thelma R. Chee, 27, To dichiinii, Ta neeszahnii, Kinyaa aanii, Totsohnii, Clan of Bitterwater, daughter of Tangle People, granddaughter of Watertower and Bigwater. Thelma was a resident of Albuquerque and passed away on March 24, 2006. Thelma is survived by her father, Paul Chee; her mother, Virginia Alice Yazzie; one brother, Garrett Chee; one sister, Ivona V. Chee; her grandfather, Alfred Welito; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Thelma was a member of the Catholic Church, employee of the Dept. of Interior, graduate of Wingate High School Class of 1996, attended U.T.I. for mechanics, she loved the outdoors, loved to ride horses, liked old cars and always wanted to better herself in life and continue here education. Visitation for Thema will be Monday evening at 6:30 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW, by Gabriella Nieto. Final visitation will be Tuesday morning from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow the Mass, place to be announced. Pallbearers will be Lindy Chee, Al Begay, Benjamin Charley, Felix Yazzie, Michael Lente, and Dominic Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be, Garrett Chee, Michael Dee, John Weston, Duane Peterson, and Casey Eddie. Arrangements by: Gabaldon Mortuary 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW 243-7861
