Obituary for KERVITSKY

Michael Kervitsky, 83, a resident of Albuquerque since 1972, went home in peace on Friday, March 24, 2006. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Emily Glodek Kervitsky. Also surviving are his three children, Lynn Bradley and husband, James of Baltimore, MD, Michael A. Kervitsky Jr. and wife, Alma J. of Golden, CO, and Gary J. Kervitsky of Littleton, CO; grandchildren Lisa, Tony, Kevin, Sean, Christine, Jocelyn, Katie, and Joseph; great-grandchildren, Morgan, Cole, James, and Lauren. Michael was a member of Immaculate Conception Church for over 30 years. Mr. Kervitsky served in the United States Army where he was a Squad Leader and Staff Sergeant during World War II. He was a life member of the VFW Post 401, along with a member of The American Legion. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church with a Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association of NM, 2625 Pennsylvania NE, Suite 225, Albuquerque, NM 87110 and NM School for the Blind and Visually Impaired, 1900 N.
