Obituary for HATHOOT

William F. "Bill" Hathoot, 78, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at a local hospital. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Betty Hathoot of the family home; sons, Roger Hathoot and wife, Cynthia of Bosque Farms, NM and Steve Hathoot and wife, Trish of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Tracy Sawyer and husband, Scott of Fort Collins, CO; seven grandchildren, Jesse, Wes, Nikki, Steven, Joshua, Justin, and Rachael Hathoot; sister, Mary Ann Turkmany and husband, Joseph of Los Angeles, CA; and many nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his brothers, Roger and Charles, Jr. "Bud" Hathoot. He served his country in the United States Army during WWII. Mr. Hathoot was in the insurance business for 40 years. A Memorial Rosary will be recited Sunday, March 26, 2006, 4:00 p.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Fourth and Alameda NW. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Monday, March 27, 2006, 9:00 a.m. at the church, with interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
