Obituary for VIGIL

Paul J. Vigil, 74, passed away peacefully in the presence of his family on Tuesday, March 7, 2006 in Albuquerque. He is survived by five brothers, Fares Vigil and wife, Ennie, Floyd Vigil, Gustavo Vigil and wife, Beatrice, Dennis Vigil and wife, Henrietta, and Arthur Vigil and wife, Darlene; five sisters, Bertha Vigil and husband, Juan, Priscilla Hernandez and husband, Francisco, Elisa Fernandez and husband, Robert, Victoria Gaillour and husband, Reynold, and Mary Louise Spear and husband, Dave; and numerous nephews and nieces. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Jose L. and Sinforosa C. Vigil and brother, Felix W. Vigil. He was born July 30, 1931 and raised in Costilla, NM. Paul was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and disabled in that conflict. Rosary will be recited on Monday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, 9:00 a.m., at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. French Mortuary 1111 University Blvd. NE 843-6333
