William A. Tudor Jr. In Loving Memory of William A. Tudor Jr. , who was born March 6th, 1960 and passed away 16 years ago on March 13, 1990. I'll lend you for a little time a child of mine, he said. For you to love the while he lives and mourn for when he's dead. It may be six or seven years or thirty-two or three, but will you til I call him back, take care of him for me? He'll bring his charms to gladden you and shall his stay be brief, you'll have his lovely memories as a solace for your grief. I cannot promise he will stay since all from earth return, but there are lessons taught down there, I want this child to learn. I've looked the whole world over in my search for teachers true, and from that crowd that crowds Lefe's Lane, I have selected you. (I was the honored one when the Lord put you in my arms and made you "MY SON"!). Now will you give him all your love, nor think the labor vain, nor hate me when I come to call to take him home again? I fancied that I heard them say "Dear Lord Thy Will Be Done." For all the joy thy child will bring, the risk of grief we'll run. We'll shelter him with tenderness,we'll love him while we may, and for the happiness we've known, forever grateful stay. But shall the Angels call for him much sooner that we've planned, we'll brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand! We remember our last good-bye, we were all there with you when you breathed your last breath and I held your hand. Unless you're a mother and have lost a son or daughter, no one can ever fully understand! So parents love your children while you may..for I'd give anything to have my son alive and with me here today!! It broke our hearts to lose you, Billy, but did not go alone, part of your brother and I went with you, the day God called you home. Your last three words spoken were "I LOVE YOU" and we know the love that was in your heart and mind and they forever will be cherished in all our hearts you left behind!! Billy, you earned your angel wings because you were always there to help anyone in need, now indeed there isn't a valley low enough, that you, as our angel can't carry us through. Whenever we feel our arms are too short to reach you and the heavens, we fear not because you, our angel, is reaching out to meet us half way. Everyone has an angel and I know it's true. But if ever there's a shortage, I'd gladly share my angel "MY SON" with all of you!!! Our memories remain as treasures so real, for your death, Billy, is a heartache even time can't ever heal!! Sadly missed by your loving mother, Rose Ann and brother, Robert Tudor
