Manuel A. (Tony) Chavez, 69, a resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side on March 9, 2006. Tony is survived by Connie Chavez mother of his children; three children, Bernice (B.A.) Chavez and husband, Cruz Mirabal, Diane Lucero and husband, Jim, Ray Chavez and wife, Jerri; six brothers, Fred Chavez and wife, Viola, David Chavez and wife, Emily, Robert Chavez, Henry Chavez and wife, Margaret, Paul Chavez and wife, Diane, Joseph Chavez and wife, Yvonne; one sister, Dolores Romero and husband, Dave; four grandchildren, Ray Eric, Jamie and husband, Chris, Jimmy and Jeff; one great grand daughter, Autumn; many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his buddy, Dillinger. Tony was preceded in death by his son, Richard Chavez and his parents, Manuel and Andrea Chavez. Tony was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation for Tony will be Monday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt.
