Obituary for BRANSON

Ellaine C. Branson, 78, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, and a resident of Albuquerque since 1959, died Wednesday, March 8, 2006. She is survived by her husband of over 43 years, Neal A. Branson of Albuquerque; son, Rob Griffith and wife, Mary of Amarillo, TX; daughters, Rhonda Neilson of Albuquerque and Cyndi Greenleaf and husband, Randy of Henderson, NV; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Branson was born on September 7, 1927 in Elkins, WV. She graduated with honors from Allegany High School in Cumberland, MD. She was a member of Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where she belonged to a Covenant Group and the Grammas en Garde Prayer Group. Mrs. Branson was a long time member of the Alliance for the Mentally Ill. She enjoyed playing bridge with her husband and other couples. Services will be held Saturday, 3:00 p.m., at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Graveside services will held on Monday, 11:00 a.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
