Robert Pando of Albuquerque, NM passed from this life March 1, 2006 at 1:15 a.m. after a courageous five year battle with cancer. By his side were his sister, Viola Pando of Alexandria, VA. and his partner of nine years, Wade Mendenhall. Robert was born May 7, 1954 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Corsinio Pando, Mora, NM and Aurora Pando of Albuquerque, NM who survive. Robert is also survived by his niece, Desiree (Eric) Cordova. He was preceded in death by his younger sister, Diane whom he adored. From 1997 to 2004 Robert was owner of Act One Hair Design in Los Lunas, NM before retiring to his beloved home on Nob Hill in Albuquerque, NM. Robert will be sadly missed by his extended family, friends, clientele, and especially his little puppy, Buster.
