Rodolfo "Rudy" Benavidez Salcido passed away on November 26, 2005. Born September 4, 1941 in Morenci, AZ, a resident of Tucson, AZ for the past 20 years, lived in Tortugas, NM for many years. Rudy served his country in the U.S. Air Force Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his son, Orlando Madril Salcido and his uncle and best friend, Lil Joe "Judgie" Benavidez. Survived by his sons, Lil Rude and Michael Salcido; daughter, Elisa Chavez-Eloy; grandchildren, Patrick and Perry Chavez, Carmela Salcido; his father, Cipriano Salcido; three sisters and one brother, Mary, Irene, Nora, and Sonny Salcido. His good friends Edward and Elsie Gavi and his bodyguard "Poncho" friends forever. Services will be held Saturday, March 4, 2006 at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery at 12:30 p.m.
