Obituary for LOZOYA

Arturo Lozoya, 86, was born to Teodosio and Guadalupe Lozoya. He lived in Chihuahua, Mexico for the first 38 years of his life. He has been a resident of Albuquerque for 48 years. Arturo is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Genoveva Lozoya; children, Yolanda Parga and husband, Daniel, Luz Esther Galindo and husband, Juan, Sylvia Nava and husband, Tony, Arturo Lozoya, Jr. and wife, Maria de la Luz, Oscar Lozoya and wife, Jessica, Bertha Lozoya Archibeque and husband, Frank, and Vicky Lozoya Dow and husband, Alfred; two brothers, Teodosio and Rene; two sisters, Luz Esther Urueta and Yolanda Abbud; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends. Serving as pallbearers will be his grandsons, Daniel Parga, Jr., Anthony Nava, Jr., Arthur Nava, Arturo Lozoya, III, Oscar Lozoya, II, and Francisco Archibeque. Rosary will be recited Thursday, March 2, 2006, at 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, with visitation starting at 5:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, March 3, 2006, 1:30 p.m., St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 817 Arno Blvd. SE, with burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Arturo is dearly loved and will be missed by all that knew him. Arturo had a strong Christian Faith and shared his beliefs in God with his children by his actions. He was extremely honest, respectful, loving and had a sense of humor. Arturo had a very creative and mechanical mind and a strong work ethic. He enjoyed inventing and designing machines.
