TONY. It is with great sadness the family of Tony Monti announces his death on the morning of February 23, 2006 after a short illness. His was a life well lived. He possessed a kind and generous heart, a quick temper, and an adventurous spirit. The great adventure of his youth was the time he spent in North Africa and Italy as a radio operator for the OSS. His next great adventure was the years he spent being a husband and father. He spent his final adventure enjoying the things that interested him. . . politics, people, computers, and most of all his family. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Loey; his daughter, Susi and husband, Duane; son, Mike and wife, Gretchen; grandchildren, Suzanne, Melissa, Dave, Dana, Jenny, Liz, and their families; great-grandchildren, Zach, Cloe, Maddy, Garrett, Kira, and Gemma. He will be missed and in our hearts forever. Memorial Services will be held Sunday, February 26, 2006 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 11515 Lomas NE, at 4 p.m.
