Obituary for LOOMIS

Lucinda M. Loomis went home to be with the Lord on February 22, 2006 at the age of 85. She was born on March 5, 1920 in Cuba, NM. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fernando and Paublita Sandoval; husband, Alejandro Serafin Loomis; daughter, Maria; and her brothers, Alfonso and Frutoso Sandoval. Mrs. Loomis is survived by her son, Alex Loomis and wife, Olivia; daughter, Dolores Goodowens and husband, Kelly of Scottsboro, AL; sister, Stella Trujillo and husband, Fred; brothers, Louis Sandoval and wife, Enis and Ernest Sandoval and wife, Louisa of Mendoza, Argentina; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lucinda will be deeply missed by all. Visitations will be held on Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served after the Rosary in the Celebration of Life Room also at Garcia Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park in Rio Rancho. Pallbearers will be Gary Loomis, Tom Loomis, Jared Loomis, Randy Baca, Chris Hargrove, Derek Hargrove, and Justin Hargrove. Services are in the care of: GARCIA MORTUARY 717 Stover Ave. S.W. 243-5222
