Lt. Col. Pat Nussman, 43, a resident of Albuquerque since 2003, died Sunday, February 12, 2006. He is survived by his wife of 3 years, Jodi L. Nussman; children, Jesse, Amy, and Joshua; parents, Jesse and Ruth Nussman of Gulf Breeze, FL; brother, Howard Nussman and wife, Phyllis of Charlotte, NC; sister, Terrie Lyons and husband, Pat of Gulf Breeze, FL; mother-in-law, Janet Massie of Thomasville, GA; father-in-law, John Priest and wife, Marsha of Hilliard, OH; father-in-law, Dwight Cochran and wife, Donna of Harrodsburg, IN; and brother-in-law, John Priest III of Thomasville, GA. He was preceded in death by wife, Sarah Nussman. Lt. Col. Nussman commanded the 551st Special Operations Squadron at Kirtland AFB. He was a senior evaluator pilot with over 3,300 hours in the UH-1H, UH-1N, TH-53A, and the MH-53J/M PAVE LOW Helicopter. His decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Air Medal, Aerial Achievement Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal and the Air Force Achievement Medal. Friends may visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, on Wednesday, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Memorial Services will be held Thursday, 10:00 a.m., at Hanger 1000 at Kirtland Air Force Base.
