Obituary for MACNAIR

CHARLES W. Major Charles W. "Chuck" Macnair, age 88, of Albuquerque, went to be with his Lord, Saturday, February 11, 2006. He was a retired pilot in the U.S. Air Force, having served during WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. After retirement, Chuck worked at Springer Concrete as a salesman for many years. He had also worked transporting cars for the Auto Auction. He was an extremely loving, caring, giving, and deeply spiritual person who always put other's needs in front of his own. Chuck's great devotion to his wife of 57 years, who preceded him in death, will always be remembered. His humor and stories, and endearing personality made him to be loved by all. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Ohler and husband, Bill; grandson, Jeremy Carpenter and wife, Katherine, great-granddaughter, Hailey Renee Carpenter; grandson, Charles E. Macnair and fiance, Mary Davis; granddaughter, Tertia Macnair; grandson, Erich Colwell; granddaughter, Anna Macnair; and many other close friends and family members. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, February 1, 2006 at 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary Westside Chapel with Chaplain Lemuel Boyles officiating.
