Jose S. Cordova "JoJo", age 81, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2006, at home surrounded by his loving family. "The Greatest Fisherman" will be fishing the Great Lakes of Heaven. Jose served his country in the U.S. Army. He was an Honorably Discharged Veteran, having served from 1942 - 1945. Jose is survived by his sons, Arthur Cordova, Christobal Cordova and wife, Isabel; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Martinez of Albuquerque, Annie Griego and husband, Toby of Las Vegas, NM. Services will be held at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church, 4th and Mildred NW. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2006. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2006. Burial will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery, at 2:00 p.m., with U.S. Army Honors. Pallbearers will be Martis Cordova, Miguel Cordova, Ruben Romero, Paul Ramer, David Ridgeway and Chad Corson. Honorary pallbearer will be Joshua Cordova.
