G. G. Hardin, 74, an Albuquerque resident since 1960, died Saturday, January 14, 2006. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Bonnie Sue Hardin of Albuquerque; son, Jerry Hardin and wife, Kathy of Las Cruces, NM; two nieces, Janie and Anita. Mr. Hardin retired from the U.S. Navy as a Chief Store Keeper, with 20 years service in 1967. He was a veteran of Korea and Vietnam. While in the Navy, he served with MAAG in Pakistan. After retiring from the Navy, he purchased Cristy Records which he operated for 7 years. He was a musician and played pedal steel guitar with "Back at the Ranch". Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, January 19, 2006 at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE with Rev. Dr. Eugene C. Garner officiating. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Friends may call at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel on Wednesday, January 18, 2006 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 10501 Montgomery Blvd. NE, Suite 300, Albuquerque, NM 87111 in G.
