Anita Frances Bruce was born March 30, 1941 in Quincy, KS. She passed away suddenly, Thursday, January 12, 2006 in Albuquerque. Anita had been a claims processor with CIGNA for a number of years and recently began processing claims with Blue Cross Blue Shield. She enjoyed growing roses, gardening, and enjoyed spending her vacations camping and fishing. She also spent many happy hours watching the birds outside her windows. Preceded in death by her mother and father, Eva and Tom Sutton, Anita is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jerry Bruce; daughter, Tammy Roane and husband, Allen; son, Brian Bruce; grandchildren, Nicole and Travis Bruce; sister, Barbara Macy; nieces, Susan Turrini and Sandra Macy; nephews, Glen and Steven Macy. Anita was loved by all and she will be missed dearly. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th ST.
