Eric Joseph Wilson, 20, a resident of Albuquerque for 8 years, died Saturday, January 7, 2006. He is survived by his father who loved him very much, John C. Wilson and wife, Linda; mother, Linda K. Wilson; brothers, Joseph D. Baca and wife, Dawn, Jason F. Baca and wife, Tonya, and John A. Wilson and wife, Alli; nephews and nieces, Myka, Cody, Austin, Kyle, Dylan, and Alexandra; grandmothers, Odessa B. Witherspoon, Ella Mae Wilson, Jennie Lovato; great-grandmother, Jessie Wilson; grandfather, Daniel McDonald; aunts, Belvia J. Wilson, Debra Smith and husband, Ricky, Valencia Wilson, Vicki Lynn Wilson, Darlene Holler and husband, Billy, Martha Herrera and husband, Ron, Diane Forsell and husband, Merlin, Debra McDonald and Tracy Bergen; uncles, Levert Wilson, Johnny Lovato, Jeff Lovato, Gerald Lovato and wife, Yvonne, Duane McDonald and wife, Betty, Darrell McDonald, and Dale McDonald; special friends, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Baca; and his best friend, Krystal Broom and numerous other relatives and friends. Eric is preceded in death by his grandmother, Jane McDonald and grandfather, John D. Wilson, who have gone to be with the Lord. He was born on February 2, 1985 in Weisbaden, Germany. Eric lived with his brother John in Duluth, MN until he was 13 when they moved to Albuquerque. He graduated from Sandia High School in 2003. Eric enlisted in the Marine Corps in June 2003. He loved his job working on computers and he loved the Corps, which was always in his heart. Eric made many friends while attending Sandia High School and remained in touch with the majority of them until his death. Eric was very devoted to his family and loyal to his friends and co-workers. He was very outgoing and well rounded and his life touched many. Eric was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew and uncle and will be deeply missed by all who loved him. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE Friday, January 13, 2005, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, Saturday, January 13, 2005, 10:00 a.m. with burial following at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Eric's brothers and uncles. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Eric's name to any Sandia Laboratory Credit Union, Account # 609180, and donations will be then made to various homeless shelters and charities throughout the Albuquerque area.
