Obituary for DURAN

Margarito Duran went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 4, 2005. He was preceded in death by his son, Patrick Duran; granddaughter, Erica Lynn Duran; and his parents, Fred and Guadalupe Duran. Mr. Duran is survived by his wife, Ernestine Duran; daughters, Lucy Molina, Lucille Chavez, and Bernadette Duran; sons, Lawrence Duran and Michael Duran and wife, Annabelle; brothers, Robert Duran and wife, Marylou and David Duran and wife, Flora; 18 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Margarito will be deeply missed by all. Visitations will be held on Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited on Saturday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary and a second Rosary will be recited on Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00 p.m. also at St. Therese Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery 2:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be Lawrence Duran, Michael Duran, Gene Chavez, Martin Molina, Lorenzo Duran, and Michael Duran.
