Obituary for SACKETT

Juliana "Becky" Gallegos Sackett, age 44, passed away on December 29, 2005 while vacationing with her family in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. She was a graduate of Belen High School, class of 1979. She was also an exchange student to Colombia, South America during her junior year and also attended NMSU. Juliana was a beautiful, friendly person that loved everyone around her and knew no strangers. She lived in Pleasanton, CA with her family, which were the apples of her eye. We will all miss her terribly. Juliana was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Estevan Archuleta; her paternal grandparents, Ignacio and Estella Gallegos; three aunts, Carmen, Diana, and Bernadette; and two uncles, Moises and Tony. She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Robert Sackett; her two sons, Gerrad and Tyrell; one daughter, Corynn; her parents, Nestor and Frances Gallegos; maternal grandmother, Rebecca Archuleta; two sisters, Darlene Cook and husband, Paul of Minnesota, Loretta Levy and husband, Larry of Albuquerque, NM; two brothers, Steven Gallegos of Albuquerque, and Charles Gallegos of Belen; nephews, Aaron Cook, Michael and David Levy and, Ryan Gallegos; mother-in-law, Diane Hurt; two sisters-in-law, Melody and Debbie; a brother-in-law, David; and many dear uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. Honoring Julia's wishes cremation has taken place. Services will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church on Friday, January 6, 2006 beginning with a visitation at 10:30 a.m. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with her uncles, Fr. Albert and Fr. David Gallegos co-celebrating the Mass. Another Memorial Service and Interment will take place in Julia's hometown in Pleasanton, CA at a later date. Romero Funeral Home, 609 N.
