Nick Griego, a resident of Albuquerque, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on January 3, 2006. Mr. Griego is the beloved husband of Theresa, married for 48 years. He is also survived by his loving children: Rick Griego; Charlene Perea and husband, Lawrence; Deana Reyes and husband, Abel and daughter-in-law, Debbie Griego; seven grandchildren: Nicole, Jolene, Joshua, Dominic, Denae, Anthony, and Alisia; three step-grandchildren: Jacob, Megan, and Ryan; his beloved mother, Rosella Garcia; brother and sisters: Betty Lovato and husband, Victor; Ernest Griego and wife, Gina; Sylvia Michel and husband, Carlos; other siblings: Rachel, Maryann, Roger, Marcos, Eileen, and Sadie; and many other family members and friends who love him and will miss him dearly. Mr. Griego was a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. A Rosary for Mr. Griego will be recited at Queen of Heaven, 5310 Claremont Ave. NE, on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. with a Visitation beginning at 6:30 p.m. A final viewing for Mr. Griego will be held on Friday morning at Reflections (Washington and Cutler NE) at 9:00 a.m. with the Mass of the Resurrection celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. Pallbearers will be Lawrence Perea, Abel Reyes, Anthony Montes, Dominic Gonzales, Joshua Griego, and Eric James Michel.
