LORENZO M. SR. Mr. Lorenzo M. Avalos Sr., 81, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on December 25, 2005. Mr. Avalos is survived by his children, Raymond Avalos, Erlinda Garcia, Rudy Avalos and wife, Olga, Henry Avalos, Rosie Lopez, Lorenzo Avalos Jr. and wife, Sandra; one sister, Ysidra Rios; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mr. Avalos was preceded in death by his wife, Elvira; a brother, Frank; a sister, Fernanda Meraz; a son-in-law, Robert Lopez Sr.; two grandsons, Rudy Avalos Jr., and Joe (Chip) Garcia Jr. A visitation for Mr. Avalos will be Friday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 p.m. by Pastor Ernest Francia. Final visitation will be Saturday afternoon in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service to be held at 1:00 p.m. by Pastor Ernest Francia. Interment will follow at the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Lopez Jr., Angelo Avalos, Toby Avalos, Joe Garcia, Danny Gutierrez, and Dennis Anzures.
