Obituary for WHISENHUNT

Louise Whisenhunt, 96, a resident of Albuquerque, died on Christmas Day, December 25, 2005. She is survived by her daughter, Ruth Pendley; seven grandchildren, Michael, Ann, Richard, Cathy, David, Donna, and Steven; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous other relatives and friends. Louise was preceded in death by her daughter, Mildred Ann Barnhart. She was born in Winslow, AZ on April 15, 1909, before Arizona was a state. Louise married Arnold Hanson Bradford in 1928 in Los Angeles. He preceded her in death. She was active, until recently, in St. Elizabeth's Guild and the choir at St. Mary's Episcopal Church. Louise was also a 50 year plus member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 1500 Chelwood Park Blvd. NE, Wednesday, December 28, 2005, 2:00 p.m. with Father Robert Nagel officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in Louise's name to the Animal Humane Assoc. of New Mexico, 615 Virginia Ave., SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108.
