Ruth Alice Mynatt, 82, of Lubbock, TX, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2005. She is survived by four children: Harvey B. Mynatt, III of Rio Rancho, NM, Rosslyn Smith of Lubbock, TX, Steven Mynatt of DeSoto, TX, and Allison Perrin of Lubbock, TX; seven grandchildren, Marisa Martinez, Blaine Mynatt, Ross Mynatt, Matthew Mynatt, Sarah Perrin Wood, Dayton Perrin, and Kyle Perrin; as well as one great-grandchild, Asa Blaine Mynatt. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey B. Mynatt Jr. on February 14, 1999. She was born in Cincinnnati, OH on May 1, 1923. She married Harvey on January 8, 1944. Mrs. Mynatt was a former dancing instructor in Cincinnati and a former member of Sweet Adelines. She resided in Albuquerque from 1951 to 2002, when she moved to Lubbock, TX. Ruth was a member of Sunset Church of Christ in Lubbock and a former member of Sandia Baptist Church in Albuquerque where she taught Sunday school and worked with senior adults. She was a beloved mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. The family will receive friends at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE Monday, December 26, 2005 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas, NE on Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation will follow the Service and she will be enniched with her beloved husband, Harvey, at a later date at Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque, NM.
