Obituary for DERRY

Clyne E. Derry, age 90, a resident of Albuquerque, since March 2005, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2005. He was born on July 10, 1915 in Astoria, IL, and moved to Grant County, New Mexico in the 1930s, with a Civilian Conservation Corps. He married Vivien on February 24, 1962 in Silver City. Mr. Derry is survived by his wife of 43 years, Vivien; children, Linda Gerritson of Silver City, Bill Cobb, and Kenneth and his wife, Margo Wagner, all of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Clarissa and Chet Wagner, also of Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by three siblings and his parents. Mr. Derry was employed by Kennecott Mining in Hurley, NM for over 40 years. At the time of his retirement, he was supervisor of the general accounting department. Cremation has taken place and there will be no formal services, as were his wishes.
