EARLE G. (BJ). Born Febraury 12, 1932, BJ died peacefully in his sleep on December 14, 2005. He spent 20 years in the U.S. Air Force as an Air Traffic Controller and 17 1/2 years with the FAA. He was the oldest lifeguard hired at the Kirtland AFB Olympic Pool. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Doris (Nanny); three sons and their wives, Tye and Judy, Blaine and Cecelia, Shay and Rita; three granddaughters, Erin, Lauren, and Brittany; three grandsons, Ian, Darrin (with the U.S. Navy), and Jordan (who shares BJ's birth date); three great-granddaughters, Daytona, Hope, and Kaylla; and his sister, Mary in Iowa. Cremation has taken place and no services will be held. His hand has been clasped and he now walks with God. We, the family, ask all who knew BJ as a kind and pleasant man to think of him and smile. He will be sorely missed. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.
