Trudy Herman Delker, 79, of Frankfort, MI and Albuquerque, NM, died peacefully at her home in Albuquerque on Tuesday, December 6, 2005. She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Herbert Delker; one daughter, Charen Stafford and husband, Reynold of Tijeras, NM; one son, Rick Herman of Pinckney, MI; three grandchildren, Erik Herman, Niki Herman and Renee Herman. Trudy was preceded in death by her first husband, Frederick Herman; her parents, Howard Shorter and Olga Shorter; and sister, Thelma (Tomi) LaFreniere. She was born in Frankfort, MI on July 16, 1926 and resided there for most of her life. In 1987 she married Herbert Delker. They spent their winters in Albuquerque and summer in their home on Crystal Lake in Michigan. Trudy was an avid balloon enthusiast and rode on 23 flights. There will be no services in Albuquerque.
