Lenora Alice Stong, 82, a former resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2005 in Atlanta, GA. Lenora lived in Lafayette, IN for 45 years, until moving to Albuquerque in 1988. She was a long-distance telephone operator with GTE until her retirement. Lenora was a member of the GTE Pioneer Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donavan M. Stong. She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Schrader of Westminster, CA and Peggy Wells and husband, Gerald of Woodstock, GA; one sister, JoAnn Cooper and husband, Norman of Gilbert, AZ; five grandchildren: Michael and Timothy Odom, Tammy Eberle, Christine, and David Schrader. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Vista Verde Memorial Park, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho with Rev. Ray Wells and Gerald Wells officiating.
