Obituary for TREMBLY

Sabrea Susan Trembly was born on January 30, 1959 in Albuquerque, NM, first child of Bill D. Trembly and Sabrea E. Trembly. She graduated from Manzano High School in 1976. Susan was selected as one of the Albuquerque Symphony "Senoritas" her senior year. She attended UNM and joined Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. Susan's beloved mother passed away in 1978. Susan worked for Spourl Real Estate Investments and Consolidated Capital for several years and in 1984 started Crawford Distributors selling electrical wire and cable. In 1986 Susan returned to college and enrolled at NMSU. She earned her Degree in Business in 1988. Susan was awarded the Crimson Scholar Award and a Shell Oil Scholarship award for superior academic achievement her senior year. She received her MBA with Honors in 1991. In 1991, Susan moved to Los Alamos and went to work for the Los Alamos National Laboratory as a project manager. She obtained an Amateur Radio license in 1993 with the call of KC5DBV. Susan left Los Alamos in 1997 and moved to Albuquerque where she worked for Intel before starting her own consulting and financial businesses. Susan devoted much of her time to legislative lobbying, and volunteering for many different organizations. Susan's priority was being an active member of Hoffmantown Church West. Susan died on December 4, 2005 after 1 1/2 year struggle with LMS Cancer and donated her body to the UNM Medical School. A "Celebration" of Susan's life will be held on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2005 at Hoffmantown Church West (LBJ Middle School) at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Susan Trembly Memorial Prayer Garden at Hoffmantown Church West, 2600 American Rd. SE, Suite 350, Rio Rancho, NM 87124. Susan is survived by: father, Bill Trembly, of Angel Fire, NM; step-mother and adopted mother, Patricia A. Trembly; brother, John Trembly, of Rio Rancho, NM; sister-in-law, Quita Trembly; niece, Sabrea Trembly; nephew, Aspen Trembly; sister, Laurie Trembly of Albuquerque, NM, fiance, David Spradlin; niece, Morgan Wynn; niece, Callie Wynn.
