Zenaida V. Montoya, age 94, a lifelong resident of Dulce, NM, joined Our Lord on Wednesday morning, December 7, 2005. Zenaida was born October 7, 1911 in Chama, NM. She will always be remembered by her family and many friends for her kindness, her cooking and for being a good mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Santos B. Montoya; her parents, Augustine and Albina Villarreal; one son, Valdamar Montoya; and a daughter, Virginia Montoya; brothers, Florintino, Jose, Lawrence, Ray, and Augustine Villarreal. She is survived by her 16 loving children, Bernard Montoya and his wife, Mineko of Livermoore, CA, Dora May and her husband, Rex of Lincoln, NE, Cordilia and her husband, Al Thompson of Fairfax, OK, Lionila Lee of Lincoln, NE, Ealizaro Montoya of Pagosa Springs, CO, Theodra Garcia and her husband, Ralph of Pagosa Springs, CO, Neoma McIntosh and her husband, Don of Pahramp, NV, Antonio Montoya and his wife, Luz of Webster, NY, Joe Montoya of Dulce, NM, Patricia Gould of Rochester, NY, Rosa McCrossen and husband Tom of Dansville, NY, Geraldo Montoya of Albuquerque, NM, Juan Montoya and his wife, Jenny of Albuquerque, NM, Melisendro Montoya and his wife, Susie of Pagosa Springs, CO, Valdamar A. Montoya and Renee of Albuquerque, NM, and Susie McDonald of Los Lunas, NM; 45 beloved grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jose Gabriel "Gabby" Villarreal and his wife, Ellen of Antonito, CO; sisters, Asusena Broyles, and Angela Lobato, both of Antonito, CO; and many loving relatives and friends. Services held in Belen will be at Romero Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, December 11, 2005, beginning with a viewing at 1:30 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. Services held in Lumberton, NM, will be at St. Francis Church beginning with a visitation on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at 5:30 p.m. followed by a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. A final viewing will take place on Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Montoya Lovato Cemetery.
