Josephine Marmon Goetting, 93, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2005, after a long illness. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Ray; daughter, Miriam Marmon Goetting; son; R. Chandler Goetting and wife, Susie; grandchildren, Lisa Lee Elkins and Kolby Lee Elkins; great-grandson, Kamron Elkins; one nephew; and five nieces. Josephine taught elementary schools in Grants and Laguna. At times she served the Pueblo of Laguna in the Human Services Division and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Laguna Rainbow Nursing Center, while her mother Susie Reyos Marmon was a resident and where she herself was a resident for the last few years of her life. Services will be held on Thursday, 11:00 a.m., at Laguna Presbyterian Church, Casa Blanca, NM, with Rev. Randy Pence officiating, located exit 108 north bound from I-40. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
