Edith "Oma" ToersBijns, 84, a resident of Belen since 1977, passed away Friday, November 25, 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. ToersBijns. Oma is survived by her children, Natasha Guthrie and husband, M.C. of Phoenix AZ., Carl R. ToersBijns and wife, Roni of Mesa AZ, Carlos F. ToersBijns of Los Lunas, and Marsha Cousino and husband, Tim of Dublin, OH; 23 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. Oma led a full and happy life surrounded by her family. Most of her time was spent taking care of her many beloved pets. Services will be held on Monday, 1:00 p.m., at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Belen Ward, at the Los Lunas Chapel, 160 James Road, Bishop Jerry Clark presiding. Contributions in her loving memory may be made to Los Lunas Animal Hospital, 419 Main St., Los Lunas NM 87031 in care of Dr. Van Otten.
