Emilia A. Garcia, age 86, and a resident of Algodones, New Mexico, was born May 18th, 1919. She passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2005. Emilia passed on to heaven with her family at her side. She was preceded in death by her parents, Margarita and David Archibeque and daughter, Margaret Garcia. Emilia is survived by her loving husband, Pete Garcia, which were happily married for 52 years; her daughter, Ramoncita Perez and husband, Remejio of Algodones, New Mexico; her son, Joe P Garcia and wife, Andrea of Los Lunas, New Mexico, her son, Gerald Garcia and wife, Lorraine of Los Lunas, New Mexico; her daughter, Emily Murray and husband, Jerry of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her sister-in-law, Adelita of Santa Fe, New Mexico; eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. Services will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo, NM. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2005. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 2005. Burial will follow at the San Jose Cemetery in Algodones, NM.
