Mary E. Velletta, 66, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past 22 years, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2005. Mary was born January 6, 1939 the daughter of Robert Kent and Mary Ellen Kelly Franklin in Brooklyn, NY. She loved to go to Bingo and playing with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Italian American Club and the Knights of Columbus. Mary lived life to the fullest. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Carlo Velletta of the family home; by her children, Carla Asmore and husband, Raymond, Colleen Sousa and husband, Joseph, Michael Velletta and wife, Leigh, James Velletta and wife, Melissa, and Maryellen Velletta; grandchildren, Victoria Bowman and husband, Jason, Jessica Pancho and husband, Lucas, Raymond Asmore, Michele Asmore, James Velletta, Julia Velletta, Matthew Velletta, Michael Velletta, Jennifer Velleta, and Ariana Vellette; two great-grandchildren, Jessica Bowman and Alyson Bowman; and one brother, Gerard Franklin and wife Fran of Divide, CO. A Visitation will be held today, Tuesday, November 22, 2005 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho. Cremation to follow.
